Eddie was found by a carpenter who noticed a trash bag moving outside his workshop in Ecuador. The man went to look and inside was a baby…Eddie!
Eddie was taken to an orphanage and was there when the Van Eerden family was visiting the country. They fell in love with him instantly and did not see a baby with special needs, but a baby who needed love.
When you hear his mom and dad speak of what he means to them it’s hard not to get teary-eyed!
