This is spectacular, both in sight and sound. This is Andre Rieu’s breathtaking performance of Amazing Grace, after a wonderful start of bagpipes and drums. It opens with the auditorium’s stairs being flooded with bagpipers and drummers marching through the audience before joining Rieu on stage. The music then switches gears into a stirring rendition of the popular ballad with a musician on Irish flute and Rieu on violin, and later joined by a woman on bagpipes!
It’s not surprising to see the emotional response from people in the audience, with tears flowing from their eyes.
