Dude the Alaskan Malamute is about to meet the new little human in the family and he couldn’t be happier. Dad and mom have just come back from the maternity ward and are bringing their newborn baby home. The moment they step through the door, their dog is eager to say hello to the family’s newest member.
Dude is right there to greet them at the door and the moment they step inside, he comes over for a sniff and makes the most adorable “welcome home” howl.
It’s always especially important to prepare dogs to behave properly around infants, but it sure looks like his family prepared him for the new family addition, and are giving him lost of positive reinforcement.
And from Dude and baby’s first interaction, they look like they’re on their way to being best friends.
